BLAST RADIUS [] Volume one

Blast Radius NYC is exactly what it's title suggests. The idea is to Detonate something, watch it Spread and finally - Connect. We will be releasing the first volume of our Compilation CD's on jan 29th 2009, with 10 bands (all based out of Brooklyn, NYC) that we all think you need to hear, if you haven't already:

The CD release party for BLAST RADIUS will be held at Public Assembly on Thursday, Jan. 29th. Featuring live performances from:
Villa Vina, Abigail Warchild, Salt and Samovar, Appomattox, and Object.
and the show will culminate with a DJ set of rock, pop, and hip-hop by DJ Penfold.

In the space between our compilation releases we will have a few blogs for you about recordings and performances from NYC that we DIG... to focus your attention on events and sounds that are happening here. It will also be a chance for the bands to gain some like-minded fans and get some exposure to listener's, in what can sometimes be a flooded music scene. Keep both eyes and ears out for more volumes, shows and info.
